Weekly Update - 11th Sept 2021

Welcome to our new Weekly Business Update - each week we will be engaging with you and giving you a bit of an update eon whats been going on here at Ferry Fish.

Our New Logo/Brand

Over the last few months we have been working hard on rebranding with a new update to date logo. We are pleased to say that we have finalised our design and we are absolutely delighted to be able to share it with you. We would love to know your thoughts.

DEADLINE CHANGE

Over 2 weeks ago we changed our deadlines for ordering to give you more flexibility when ordering, this has been quite a big change for our team and we have been learning how to cope with it.

So far, we have done well and the team have been fantastic at adapting. Controlling our stock on a daily basis has been a challenge for us but it is something know the customers love and we are determined to make it work.

A NOTE FROM KIRSTY

This week my parents (Linda and Wyllie) were away on their first holiday EVER in 36 years when the business has been able to continue to run in full. So, the pressure was on for me to make sure that we got through it ok - from routing delivery drops, to packing and picking fish a lot goes on here in a week.

I am happy to say that although i worked 80 hours me and our fantastic team pulled it off no problem at all. Not only was i responsible for getting your orders out to you but also for setting up and running the pop up shop on the Market Hill, Castle Douglas. With the invaluable help of Stevie we managed absolutely fine - in fact i really enjoyed getting out there and meeting some of our customers face to face.

They have had a wonderful time away in Cornwall with great weather and they even managed to see a few pods of Dolphins,
